How we got your address, what we hold, and how to be removed.
We did not buy a list. If we contacted you, your business email came from one of:
We only write to addresses a business has chosen to publish. We do not contact guessed addresses, and we do not contact addresses we merely inferred from a pattern.
Our lawful basis under the UK/EU GDPR is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): offering a directly relevant product to a business that has publicly discussed a problem it solves. We have assessed this against your interests, and we keep the intrusion low — a small number of messages, an instant opt-out, and no profiling or automated decision-making.
Because we did not obtain your details from you directly, Article 14 requires us to tell you where they came from. That is what this page is for.
We do not hold payment details, and we collect nothing about your customers. Our messages carry no tracking pixel and no link tracking — we do not know whether you opened them.
Any of these, and it takes effect immediately:
When you opt out we keep only your address, on a suppression list, and delete the rest. Keeping that one record is the only way to guarantee we never contact you again — erasing it entirely would mean re-adding you the next time we looked at public data.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to the processing. Write to denzil@getnudgesmart.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EU you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
We do not sell or share your details. Email is delivered through Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES), which processes it on our behalf in order to send the message.
